Opening and converting happen entirely inside this browser. The file you drop in does not reach our server and is not kept anywhere. We do not record file names or contents.

The first time you drop in a file, the browser downloads the document engine once. It is about 4.4 MB to download (about 12 MB unpacked).

Not done yet

  • Text in nested tables, footnotes and endnotes, and headers and footers is not extracted. Only the count is listed above.
  • Paragraphs and tables that run across pages are recorded on the page where they start.
  • Password-protected documents are not opened.
  • Filling in form fields and saving documents are not supported yet.
