Linking chemical accident substances
to Korea's regulatory lists
We resolved the substance names in Korean chemical accident records to CAS numbers and linked them to the four designation lists under the Chemicals Control Act. The list below shows accident substances designated as hazardous chemicals but not as accident preparedness substances, by number of accidents.
- 1지정 목록은 2026년 현행 고시 기준입니다. 사고는 2014년부터라, 사고 당시 그 물질이 지정돼 있었는지는 이 자료로 알 수 없습니다.
- 2사고대비물질 지정은 수량·물성 기준을 따릅니다. 지정되지 않았다는 것이 곧 규제 공백이라는 뜻은 아닙니다.
- 3사고 기록의 물질 이름은 공개 자료의 이름으로만 CAS 에 이었습니다. 약칭·표기 차이로 풀리지 않은 이름은 어느 상태로도 세지 않았습니다.
